The 24FPS International Animation Awards provide a unique platform for film making utilizing the mediums of 3D Animation, Live Action, and Visual Effects (VEX). These awards are open to students, professionals, and studios from around the world.
MAAC 24 FPS is a flagship event of MAAC and stands as the most prestigious awards ceremony for animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Digital Design segments across the Indian sub-continent and beyond. Held annually since its inception in 2003,
I had the opportunity to work on this project, which took almost 6 months to create a full 10 sequences. We worked as a team on this project, involving modeling, texturing, animation, Rotoscopy, rigging, and matte painting. My specific role was digital matte painting. I was responsible for creating all the clean plates, digitally painted in a layer-based process.
